Warda is one of our most creative students here in MINDDRIVE, Warda is a 17-year old senior who attends Southwest High School. She loves scary movies and reading. She also loves writing, which is why she decided to join the contemporary communications class at MINDDRIVE. She is open to learning new things and committed to work as hard as needed.
Not only is she good in writing but she is also a great photographer! She has been able to learn many valuable skills on how to focus, finding the right angle from which to shoot, and how to zoom in or out in order to take the best picture possible. Taking a picture is much more then just snapping a shot, it takes confidence to stand less then a foot away from the person you are taking the picture of. You also have to be willing to get your hands dirty and not be scared to lay down on your back in order to get the best picture.
There are many qualities you need in order to take the best picture and Warda truly has them all. She took 34 student and 16 mentor portraits during only a 3 hour class. Not only was she able to take great photos, but she also had time to edit each picture. Warda shows us what incredible work a person can do when they are open to learning and having a passion they enjoy. We can’t wait to see what awesome photos she posts next!
